Commercial Licensing

We offer three flavors of commercial licenses for Awesomium:

Independent Professional Enterprise
  • Single-Application, per Platform
  • Standard Forum Support
  • For all Awesomium 1.x releases
  • License must be purchased for each destination platform *
  • May NOT be licensed or used by companies or incorporated entities that had a turnover in excess of US$100,000 in their last fiscal year.
  • Must display the Awesomium logo on splash screen or credit line in documentation
  • Single-Application, per Platform
  • Standard Forum Support
  • For all Awesomium 1.x releases
  • License must be purchased for each destination platform *
  • May be licensed and used by companies or incorporated entities that had a turnover in excess of US$100,000 in their last fiscal year.
  • Unlimited Applications, Unlimited Platforms
  • Standard Forum Support
  • For all Awesomium 1.x releases
  • Allows resale of Awesomium as part of an engine, allowing for sublicensing to other studios.
  • Includes Source Code Contract

Source Code Contracts

We offer access to the source code of Awesomium on a contractual basis, separate from our Independent and Professional licenses. The contract includes access to the source of the current release as well as any incremental iterations of Awesomium 1.x major version.

Support Contracts

All of our commercial licenses include standard forum support. We also offer contractual email support on an annual basis. Typical turnaround time is one business day with a guaranteed response within two business days.

Broadcast Licensing

For use of Awesomium in applications or services intended for broadcast, we offer a separate Broadcast License.

Non-Commercial Licensing

Awesomium is free, that’s right free, for non-commercial use. You may review the non-commercial license here.

Conditions/Limitations

  • Cannot be used for products created with the intention for profit
  • Cannot be used for resale or other Commercial distribution
  • Cannot be used for products intended to produce works, services, or data for Commercial use
  • Cannot be used for products that are either conducted or funded by a person or an entity engaged in the Commercial use, application or exploitation of works similar to the software
